Many of the UN members are not satisfy with the progress of the Millennium Development Goals, and feel that the goals focus on the wrong issues. There is a disconnect between what issues the UN develop countries believe are priorities and what many developing countries feel the prioritize issues should be.  For example, the country of Burundi has ask that one of the goals be focus on food security but Austria is adamant that a major current global issue is to mediate ceasefires to countries in the midst of a civil war. You have been asked to provide an unbiased perspective and identify the four issues you feel most impact the global environment. You will present your findings at the next UN General Assembly consultant.

Your goal is to provide a history of each issue,

the number of countries affect, and the effects of this threat to the world population. Of the eight major threats listed below, choose four that you consider the most critical. Energy sources Civil war (NOT THE US CIVIL WAR) Globalization Poor health of entire populations. Lack of educational opportunities Cultural taboos Inappropriate uses of technology Climate change.  Presentation to the United Nations: Develop a minimum of four slides per issue, for a minimum total of 16 slides.

Provide at least a paragraph on each slide in the notes section that includes a history of each issue. What type of economic, political, social or environmental threat the problem poses to populations in the developing world. DO NOT make your slides just a series of bullets; rather write out comprehensive NOTES at the bottom of each slide to explain your position on each of the four issues. (See image of typical slide at right with explanatory note at bottom.  EVERY SLIDE MUST HAVE NOTES). For each issue, use one of your four slides to create a graph. Chart that analyzes the data you have collect. Cite at least five credible sources excluding Wikipedia, dictionaries and encyclopedias.
