In short, find 10 securities, fill in their stock price in the Excel I attached. (Assume you have 10,000 usd), and evaluate their these 10 securities’ price to present basic calculations of the proposed portfolio performance’s over the last month, six months, one year, five years and ten years prior to the presentation based on data.
So, we need,
1, fill in the excel I attached.

2, Do evaluation for last month, six months, one year, five years and ten years
3, A write up for total 600+ words.

The instruction:
students will form teams of 3 to 4 students per team. Each student team will be asked to develop a strategy for investing a specific sum of money in a student managed portfolio. Students will use the Bloomberg TMSG module to manage their portfolios. In Week 15

of the course, student teams

will present their recommendations to the instructor. The committee will deliberate on the quality of each student team’s recommendations and will select an overall “best” strategy. If external funds are raised for the managed student portfolio project, the funds will be invested based upon the “best” strategy. The selection of a best strategy and each student team member’s overall grade is based on:
(1) the ability of student teams to explain the recommendations for assets included in the portfolio. Student teams must specify their intended investment objective and risk tolerance in their recommendations.
(2) the ability of the student team to present basic calculations of the proposed portfolio performance’s over the last month, six months, one year, five years and ten years prior to the presentation based on data from Bloomberg. and
(3) the ability of the student team to utilize Excel to present and summarize calculations.
Note: You do not need to find data from Bloomberg if that’s a problem, using yahoo finance will also be fine.

Tips:

There are many stock/securities

evaluation template available online, you may use any, and what are those 10 securities depends on you.
Just search in google some keywords.
Final deliverable,
1 excel that I attached to be filled in,
1 excel of evaluation (can use any templete online but fulfill instruction). (Do not need make one if that would cost you time. If you dealt with this kind of task before, use your templete will also be fine.
