INSTRUCTIONS Your task in this assignment is to write a brief overview of the history of Christianity in a country of your choice from the West Indies, Central America, South America, Africa, or Asia. (Be sure to write on a country and not on a region or continent.). The first half (roughly half) will focus on how Christianity was introduce and develop in that country up to the present. The second half will discuss the state of Christianity in that country today.
Here are some suggestions of current topics (but you are not limit to this list): Description of denominations, different types of missions, indigenous denominations/churches/missions, availability of Bible colleges/universities/seminaries, percentage of Christians vs other religions in the country, etc. Please note: If you have been on a mission trip to this country, please do write about your experience and explain the ministry you did there but limit it to 50–75 words. 1. Write a 500- to 750-word essay (using 12-point, Times New Roman font, 1-inch margins on all sides). Include the total word count at the end of the essay. Please note: Words in the cover sheet, footnotes, and bibliography are not counted. 2. Use at least 2 scholarly sources.
