Clinical processes and business processes in healthcare are both knowledge driven and expensive. Experts agree that knowledge management must be incorporated at the front end of both clinical and business processes to improve quality outcomes of care as well as financial outcomes.
Tasks:
Describe the two key areas of knowledge management in healthcare.
Provide at least three examples of baked-in knowledge in financial workflow and the utility of baked-in knowledge.
