; 1 page needs to address safety, sanitation and maintenance issue; I would stress Covid precautions in particular hence the idea to split serving the guests (mostly parents and families, teachers, etc) in cafeteria and through grab and go by concession stands; 1 page on labor and designations (vaccinated volunteers parents) etc. It has to be well and concisely written since I am a part of a very demanding group. 1 reference will suffice; we use the book: Foodservice Organizations.
One of the reasons the Royal Government of Cambodia has been so successful in vaccinating so much of its population (already 89% of all adults have been fully vaccinated). Because is that it has worked hard to include groups who are typically harder to reach. One such group is people from indigenous ethnic minorities.
Within days of COVID first arriving in Cambodia, UNICEF began supporting the Ministry of Health with its public health response. Also from original communications on how to take precautions through to the vaccination roll-out. It has supported COVID-19 vaccination operations in the areas of logistics, planning, risk communication. Also community engagement, with generous support from the Czech Republic. That community engagement has specifically targeted indigenous ethnic minorities.
As well as providing communication materials in the most widely spoken minority languages. Which is the key to engaging this group has been a strong collaboration with local authorities, who have worked to build a network of community workers and volunteers based in their communities. At 20 years old, village assistant Sev Sen is a particularly young volunteer, but has done an extraordinary job in supporting vaccination efforts in Ya Tong commune in the remote Ratanakiri region of Cambodia.
